WHAT IF I HAVE NEVER BEEN THERE BEFORE/MY DOG HAS NEVER BEEN BOARDED BEFORE?

All new clients (people and dogs!) are required to meet Rachel before the actual time of the reservation.  A one night trial is provided at a 50% discount so that dogs can become comfortable and familiar here before they come for their extended stay.

WHEN ARE PICK UP/DROP OFF TIMES?

We try to make pick up/drop off times as flexible as possible, depending on when you are leaving to go out of town!  Please talk with Rachel to set up your individual pick up/drop off time.

WHAT IS A TYPICAL DAY LIKE?

Dogs are all let out for “potty breaks” first thing in the morning (this us typically around 7:00am!)  Right after potty breaks, dogs are fed breakfast. Post breakfast, dogs rest in their kennels for about an hour to allow their stomachs to settle.  Then, the play time begins! Weather permitting, the dogs are rotated out into the large exercise yard all throughout the day to run and play! Dinner is then fed around 5:00pm.  Dogs are let out again twice more after dinner: once shortly after dinner and again for the last time of the night between 10:30 and 11:00pm. Then, they are all tucked in and given a goodnight treat and its lights out until the morning!

HOW OFTEN ARE DOGS FED?

Dogs are fed twice a day, unless the owner indicates a different feeding plan.

WHAT IF MY DOG NEEDS MEDICATION?

Medication administration is included in our flat, per night rate.  Please bring detailed, written instructions for your dog’s medication and those will be reviewed at the time of drop off.

DO ALL OF THE DOGS PLAY TOGETHER?

For safety purposes and so that we may provide more individualized attention, the dogs are never all outside at the same time.  Groups of anywhere from 2-6 dogs are formed based on age and energy level so that your dog has similar playmates.

WHAT IF MY DOG CANNOT BE AROUND OTHER DOGS?

That is fine!  Some individual dogs (or pairs/groups from the same family) are not well suited for group play, so they get their own playtime!

CAN I GET UPDATES ON MY DOG DURING HIS/HER STAY?

Yes!  All clients are given Rachel’s personal cell phone number.  Rachel tries her best to send everyone pictures and updates frequently and is always available via phone/text if you’d like to check in!

DO I BRING MY OWN FOOD?

Yes!

CAN I BRING MY OWN TREATS?

Yes!  Rachel also tends the spoil the dogs with treats a few times a day as well!

CAN I BRING TOYS/BEDS/BLANKETS?

Yes!  However, we also have plenty of those so your dog is welcome to use our blankets for bedding if you’d like!

WHAT IF I WANT MY DOG TO GO ON A WALK?

If you would like your dog to go on a one-on-one leash walk, those are available at a price of $15 for a 30 minute walk.

WHAT IF I MAKE A RESERVATION AND HAVE TO CANCEL IT?

If the reservation is cancelled less that 2 weeks prior, our cancellation fee is 10% of what the total stay would be.  If the reservation is cancelled less that 48 hours prior, our cancellation fee is 30% of what the total stay would be.
